Rachel Anne Daquis looks forward to practicing and learning from her foreign teammates in the PSL-F2 Logistics Pilipinas.

“For the past two weeks I’ve really been excited to go to the practice because I know I will learn a lot from them (imports),” Daquis said.

Though just recovered from her foot injury, Daquis said she has perfect attendance in practice along with RC Cola-Army teammate Jovelyn Gonzaga in preparation for the FIVB Women’s Club Championship.

“I get inspired with their strong character in the game; they are all out during practice,” said Daquis who is also named the team captain. “I tell to myself it feels great to have them as teammates because their intensity rubs into all of us.”

The PSL-F2 Logistics Pilipinas were feted Friday night by teams and officials of the Philippine Superliga, including Sen. Alan Peter Cayetano, PSL chair Philip Ella Juico and PSL president Ramon “Tats” Suzara.

“This is a big event, it’s the NBA of volleyball as coach Moro (Branislav) said,” said Daquis.
