All systems go for PSL Grand Prix imports

All foreign reinforcements have secured their International Transfer Certificate and are eligible to spice up competition in the Philippine Superliga Grand Prix which starts Oct. 8 at FilOil Flying V Arena in San Juan.

This was assured by PSL president Ramon “Tats” Suzara during Thursday’s presser and presentation of imports.

Suzara said some of the imports even have international rights ITZ which certifies they have already played in major professional leagues around the world.

Suzara said the PSL Grand will follow Olympic protocol patterned after the Rio Games. It will also make use of automatic ball railing to fast track ball retrieval.

Defending champion Foton presented returning imports Lyndsay Stalzer and Ariel Usher who have been in the country for more than a month.

Also introduced during the presser are Cignal’s Laura Rae Schaudt and Olympian Lynda Morales, Generika’s Paulina Liutikova and Darlene Ramdin, Petron’s Stephanie Niemer and Serena Warner and RC Cola’s Hailir Ripley and Kiera Holst.

F2 Logistics’ Sydney Kemper was slated to arrive Thursday night.

Morales, Niemer and Stalzer will also see action for F2 Logistics-Pilipinas in the FIVB Women’s Club Championships on Oct. 18-23.
