Beau Belga is not shutting down the idea of a reunion with long-time mentor coach Yeng Guiao.
“I’m not closing the door na makasama ko pa sya. Kung yun ang plano ni God para sa amin, baka yun din,” Belga said.
For the longest time, Belga has been one of Guiao’s notable favorites as the two jumped from Air21 to Rain or Shine.

But Guiao has parted ways with Rain or Shine after a five-year run highlighted by two championships as he signed a three-year deal with NLEX.
Belga himself is weighing his options as he is up for a contract renewal with the Elasto Painters.
“Di ko pa alam kung kailan kami kakausapin. Kakausapin ako regarding sa contract ko pero about kay coach Yeng, wala naman,” he said. “I’m not yet deicided. Pinaguusapan pa namin nila boss Danny (Espiritu) kung ano yung best para sa akin.”

But if he decides to stay with Rain or Shine, Belga said that Guiao’s departure would definitely leave a big hole in the squad.
“Malaki yung impact nya kasi unang una, si coach Yeng ang nagbuo nitong team na ito eh. Yung players, malaki ang respeto sa kanya at talagang magpapakamatay sila para sa kanya,” he said.
