Bunquin, Goquingco, Mangulabnan maiden PAG champs
TRECE MARTIREZ, Cavite—Raymond Bunquin, Rex Goquingco and Lin Mangulabnan bucked the sleek greens to triumph in their respective divisions of the first Pilipinas Amateur Golf (PAG) Series at the Sherwood Hills Golf Club.
Bunquin settled for par, after narrowly missing a birdie putt from four feet on No. 18, to finish with a 77 to take the Class A championship by two shots over Mark Macaranas in the inaugural PAG tournament at the Jack Nicklaus layout.
At least nine more tournaments are scheduled in the series.
