Josephine Medina continued to dominate, taking home the gold medal in the 2016 Thailand Para Open Monday in Pattaya, Thailand.
The 46-year-old table tennis paddler ruled her class and swept Japanese Migumi Hirokane, 11-10, 11-7, 11-7 to claim the gold medal in the women’s singles class 6-8.

She also refused to drop a set for the 11-2, 11-5, 11-4 semifinals victory over Sumalee Suangtho of Thailand.
Despite facing well-rested foes, the 2016 Rio Paralympics bronze medalist defied the odds and showed what she was made of.

“They are very honored facing me. May advantage sila kasi nag-training sila for the event lang, pero ako, I came from Rio and only had one day rest,” Medina said. “I’m truly thankful talaga.”
Medina will be awarded her gold medal during the ceremonies on Wednesday.
