Gary David explodes as Powerade trumps Petron
MANILA, Philippines—Scoring machine Gary David exploded for 42 points as Powerade repulsed Petron, 108-94, in the 2011 PBA Philippine Cup Sunday.
David, who bounced back from a lackadaisical game versus B-Meg, sizzled and barely missed from the field—making four of his six three pointers and 11 of his 13 shots from two-point area.
The Tigers clawed back from 12 points down and seized the lead with an 86-83 advantage on a triple by David early in the fourth quarter.

Doug Kramer scored 18 points, Rudy Lingganay and Marcio Lassiter added 11 for the Tigers, who arrested a two-game losing skid.
