Volleyball court is where brazilian beauty’s heart is

Mariana Costa of Volero Zurich appreciated the warm welcome she received from Filipino volleyball fans last Thursday but she’d rather be known for her volleyball talents than her being a Playboy Magazine centerfold model.

The wing spiker said volleyball—not modeling—is her focus right now.
“For me, it’s important that I’m being considered as a volleyball player and not just because of my beauty,” said Costa, obviously not comfortable talking about her nude poses for Playboy Brazil.

Costa is among the top-level players seeing action in the FIVB Women’s Club World Championship starting tomorrow at Mall of Asia Arena.
