BaliPure makes it two straight, whips Air Force
BaliPure celebrates after sweeping Air Force for its second win in the Shakey’s V-League.
BaliPure made quick work of Philippine Air Force, whipping the Jet Spikers in straight sets, 25-22, 25-19, 25-21 Monday in the Shakey’s V-League Season 13 Reinforced Conference at Philsports Arena in Pasig.
American import Katherine Morrell topped the Water Defenders with 19 points, 17 off of kills, while Dzi Gervacio added 10.

Bali Pure also pounced on Air Force’s 28 opponent errors.
The Water Defenders seemed to have lost steam early in the third set, falling behind 5-0, before a spirited run punctuated by a pair of Mae Tajima blocks knotted the score at six.
Article continues after this advertisementAir Force still tried to wage back from a 24-19 deficit, but Morrell capped the match off to give BaliPure its second straight win and improve to 2-1.
Jocemer Tapic carried Air Force (1-3) with 10 points in the loss.
