Daquioag, Javier, Reyes declare for PBA Draft

Two days away from the deadline, 13 more have thrown their names to the pool extending the list to 39 applicants for the 2016 PBA Rookie Draft.

UST slasher Ed Daquioag, UE bruiser Chris Javier, and UP playmaker Mikee Reyes are the latest to declare for the draft selection, scheduled for October 30.

The 6-foot-1 Daquioag made his mark as a dependable scorer with the Growling Tigers in the UAAP before winning a pair of PBA D-League titles with Phoenix Accelerators and seeing action as a part of the Philippine team in the 2016 Fiba Asia Challenge in Tehran, Iran.

Javier was also a part of that national team after an impressive stint with Racal Tile Masters in the PBA D-League.
Reyes last played in the Filsports Basketball Association with Foton before taking on commentating duties in the collegiate leagues.

Other new entries on the list are guards Achie Inigo of FEU, Raphael Banal of Hope International University – California, Jamil Ortuoste of San Sebastian, and wingers Jordan Dela Paz of Jose Rizal U and John Tayongtong of Emilio Aguinaldo College.
Early entrants include NU playmaker Gelo Alolino, FEU forward Carl Bryan Cruz, and Arellano forward Levi Hernandez.
