Aaron Black shrugs off frustrations in return from foot injury
Returning from a foot injury, Aaron Black is glad that his days on the bench is behind him after helping Ateneo score a 75-61 victory over University of the East on Wednesday.
Though he only had four points, four rebounds, and three assists, the biggest thing for him is having the chance to take the court once more for the Blue Eagles.

But winning fixes a lot of things, and Black is happy to see Ateneo end its two-game losing skid to keep the team at solo third with a 5-4 slate.
“We were able to bounce back, so I’m happy about that,” he said. “Today was also about winning for coach Tab (Baldwin) because we lost two in a row. We wanted to get back to our winning ways.”
Black is hoping to be a major contributor in the Blue Eagles’ run to the Final Four with the elimination round heading into a crucial stretch.
“I feel good. I just need to get back more into playing shape. I don’t think I’m there yet, but my foot feels fine,” he said.
