FIVB WCWC: Hisamitsu Springs keeps Bangkok Glass winless
Hisamitsu Springs avenged its two losses in the FIVB Women’s Club World Championship by denying Bangkok Glass in straight sets, 25-14, 25-18, 25-20, Thursday at Mall of Asia Arena.
It was the first win of the 2014 Asian champions in the tournament to put their record at 1-2 even as the bronze medalists in the 2016 Asian championship slipped to 0-2.

“First of all the two earlier games were not good, so today we had a good rhythm and so we’re a little bit happy with this game,” said Nagaoka with the help of a translator.
Hisamitsu Springs head coach Kumi Nakada had the opportunity to field her younger players against Bangkok Glass to help them get exposure in the world stage.
