Rexona-Sesc Rio started its bid for the fifth place in the FIVB Women’s Club World Championship with a sweep of Bangkok Glass, 25-19, 25-15, 25-20, in the classification stages Saturday at Mall of Asia Arena.

But it wasn’t a stroll in the park for the South American champions as the Thai club put on a great showing in the third set clawing back from a 20-8 deficit and cutting it down to four, 24-20.
