It hasn’t been the best of rides for hosts PSL-F2 Logistics Manila in the FIVB Women’s Club World Championship.
Of the four matches PSL-F2 Logistics played, it has only won one set, and it came against defending champions Eczacibasi Vitra Istanbul.
Head coach Moro Branislav, however, knows they can end their campaign with a win over Bangkok Glass for the seventh seed in the tournament.
“We have a big chance to win tomorrow,” said Branislav Saturday at Mall of Asia Arena after their three-straight loss to Hisamitsu Springs Kobe, 25-15, 25-18, 25-21, in the classification stages.
PSL-F2 Logistics went 0-3 in the group stages bottoming Pool A and lost their chance to contend for the fifth spot after their setback to Hisamitsu Springs.
PSL-F2 Logistics is left to settle for a possible seventh seed while Rexona-Sesc Rio and Hisamitsu Springs duke it out for the seventh seed.
“I respect Bangkok Glass, and maybe this is the first time in history a Philippine team will win in the World Championship,” said Branislav.
