PATTS, LaCo dispute ISAA crown

Defending champion PATTS College of Aeronautics and La Consolacion College-Manila clash Monday at the start of the 8th Inter-Scholastic Athletic Association (ISAA) finals series at Trinity University of Asia Gym in Quezon City.

Game 1 of the best-of-three title series is set at 10 a.m. with the Patts Seahorses slightly favored to prevail against the Blue Royals.

PATTS and LCCM split their elimination matches but the Seahorses of coach Lency Arasanzo topped the double-round elimination with an impressive 9-1 win-loss record.

LCCM finished second with a 7-3 card.

Coach Bong dela Cruz said they must a find a way to stop PATTS scoring machine Jhon Paul Manansala, the reigning Most Valuable Player.

Manansala will be supported by Edison Borja, Jayson Orada, Mark Velasco and Neilmore Cayson.
