Prior to their home opener against the New York Knicks on Tuesday (Wednesday in Manila), the defending champions Cleveland Cavaliers received a surprise of their own in the form of 6’10″ World Wrestling Entertainment legend The Undertaker.
The 51-year-old wrestling icon showed up in full gear as he congratulated the champs and even posed for photos with some of the members of the 2016 championship squad.

Most of the Cavaliers are huge wrestling fans, including LeBron James who was seen rocking an Undertaker shirt during practice for last year’s finals when his team was trailing three games to one against the Golden State Warriors. He also wore an “Ultimate Warrior” shirt during the city of Cleveland’s championship parade.
Much like the “Dead Man,” the Cavs rose from the brink of defeat and surmounted the deficit to win their first title in franchise history.
Even the Cavs’ starting point guard Kyrie Irving shared an affinity with “The Phenom” with his own “Ankletaker” logo.
The Cavaliers received their championship rings before the game and thrashed the visiting Knicks, 117-88, at the Quicken Loans Arena. Khristian Ibarrola
