Despite Star having a guard heavy line-up with new acquisition Paul Lee, Mark Barroca, Peter June Simon, RR Garcia, and Justin Melton in tow, Vicolero is keeping his eyes open.

He said the Hotshots won’t shy away from the opportunity if the best remaining talent is still available.

“We’re looking for the best available talent who can fit to our system. Of course, we’re not closing any possibilities so mayroon kaming naka-ready sa kung ano man ang maging scenario for us,” he said.

Victolero admitted that there are few aspirants who have impressed him.

“Right now, medyo angat si (Joseph) Eriobu and si Raphy Banal, sa big man si (Chris) Javier. Sa guards naman, si (Gelo) Alolino maganda ang pinakita. May other guys pa rin na nagstep up like (Rashawn) McCarthy,” he shared. “Maganda rin ang makukuhang talent doon.”
