Pocari tests BaliPure
Semifinalists Pocari Sweat, BaliPure and Customs get to show their readiness for the next round when they lead a double-header today in the Shakey’s V-League Reinforced Conference at Philsports Arena.
Pocari and BaliPure collide at 4 p.m. hoping to finally get their groove after fumbling starts in the eliminations. Customs will take on grounded Air Force at 6 p.m.
They all slug it out for placings in the crossover semifinals slated next week.
In Spikers’ Turf men’s volleyball, Instituto Estetico Manila clashes with Army at 10:30 a.m., while 100 Plus faces Cignal at 12:30 p.m.
As the only teams with reinforcements, Pocari, BaliPure and Customs try to work out their chemistry prior to the Final Four. Import-less University of Santo Tomas is the other semifinal qualifier.
BaliPure assistant coach Charo Soriano said they are slowly hitting their stride with imports Kaylee Manns and Katharine Morrell.
