Beermen select Van Opstal

Mac Belo went to Blackwater, Kevin Ferrer was snagged by Barangay Ginebra and Filipino-American Matthew Wright was picked by Phoenix Petroleum.

Van Opstal skipped his final year with La Salle because of an injury and reportedly to train in the US.
