Even with Pocari Sweat import Breanna Mackie firing on all cylinders, Myla Pablo said the team can’t rely on their foreign reinforcement alone.

Mackie put up 23 points in Pocari’s 25-16, 12-25, 25-21, 25-19 win over BaliPure in the Shakey’s V-League Reinforced Conference Saturday at Philsports Arena.

Pablo, though, asserted the locals should also do their part.

“Siyempre hindi naman puwedeng aasa lang kami sa imports,” said Pablo, who had 11 points. “So kailangan ko rin i-double time ang sarili ko and kailangan rin namin gumawa ni Michele [Gumabao].”

Gumabao had nine points for her efforts.

Pablo added they have to help their import and pitch in whatever effort they can.

“Yun ang mindset ko ‘babawi ako, kailangan kong tulungan ang import namin,'” said Pablo.
