Don’t expect any trades happening throughout the 2016 PBA Rookie Draft.
A source close to the situation said that just like last year, the Office of the Commissioner asked teams to refrain from proposing deals during the course of the draft proceedings.
The source said the league has requested teams to file their proposals after the draft in an effort to further discuss the parity of the transactions and avoid hastily approved trades.
The 2016 PBA Rookie Draft is set Sunday at Robinsons Place Manila.
Selections from the Gilas pool members will be announced first in the alphabetical order of PBA teams.
Blackwater holds the first pick in both the special and regular draft and is expected to select Mac Belo and Raphael Banal, respectively./rga
