JR Quiñahan inks 2-year deal with Globalport
The Batang Pier are going to get more beef.
JR Quiñahan inked a two-year extension with GlobalPort on Thursday, providing the young squad with some muscle down low.
Article continues after this advertisementTeam manager Bonnie Tan shared the news, as the burly Cebuano big man is expected to be a key cog for the team’s campaign this upcoming 2017 Philippine Cup.
Quiñahan was shipped to GlobalPort in a one-on-one trade with Rain or Shine in exchange of Jay Washington last month.
He saw great strides this past season, averaging a career-best 11.7 points on a 29-percent shooting from threes, alongside 4.9 rebounds, and 1.8 assists.
