San Miguel joined the stockpiling party, infusing youth to its backcourt with the acquisition of RR Garcia.

The former FEU guard headlined the three-team, five-player trade that also involved Mahindra and Star and was approved by the Office of the Commissioner on Thursday.

Star first sent Garcia and Alex Mallari to Mahindra for Aldrech Ramos and the Floodbuster’s 2017 2nd round draft pick, which was acquired from NLEX.

Mahindra, then, shipped Garcia and Keith Agovida to San Miguel in exchange of veteran guard Ryan Arana and the Beermen’s 2018 first rounder.

Garcia will be joining his fourth team in his three-year career.

He is expected to backstop San Miguel guards Alex Cabagnot, Marcio Lassiter, and Chris Ross at the backcourt.

Ginebra also nabbed Paolo Taha from the Floodbusters, shipping Dennice Villamor and Franklin Bonifacio in a separate deal.
