LAS VEGAS—Just like boxing fans and the Filipino people as a whole, Jinkee Pacquiao would like her husband to score that elusive knockout against WBO welterweight champion Jessie Vargas on Saturday night.

“I want the fight to end earlier,” said Jinkee in Filipino, who was resplendent in a white and pink dress.
“It’s been a while since he stopped an opponent.”

Jinkee admitted that Pacquiao’s Christian faith must have something to do with the knockout drought.

“He pitied his opponents sometimes,” said Jinkee.

When she granted her husband permission to fight again, Jinkee also threw her all-out support behind his bouts.

“I’ll be here always,” said Jinkee.
