Former PBA player and University of the East star Reynaldo “Epoy” Alcantara passed away on October 28 at age 65.
He succumbed after a long bout with prostate cancer.

His remains lie at the Santuario de San Antonio inside the Forbes Park in Makati City.

A tall, steady guard, the 6-foot-2 Alcantara was a mainstay at UE where he played under mercurial coach Baby Dalupan in the UAAP, who would also be his mentor at Crispa in the amateur leagues.
