Cignal head coach Sammy Acaylar said Thursday he is worried of his team’s poor start in the Philippine Super Liga Grand Prix after winning just one game in its first four outings.

“Nababahala? Of course,” said Acaylar as the shorthanded HD Spikers fell to Foton in four sets, 25-17, 25-21, 16-25, 25-14. “It’s hypocritical kung sabihin kong hindi ako nababahala.”

“Nababahala ako kasi target namin is top four.”

Cignal played without star middle blocker Lynda Morales who is nursing an injured left foot.

Foton, too, played without its own star as Jaja Santiago is in Japan to fulfill her athletic duties with National University but it’s where the two teams’ similarities end as the Tornadoes are undefeated in five games.

Acaylar, though, is still optimistic they can turn things around come the second round.

“Sabi ko naman, learning process ito in preparation for the second round and I know sana ma patch up namin lahat,” said Acaylar.
