DZIQ: Mosley can’t beat Pacquiao, says analyst

MANILA, Philippines – There is no way Shane Mosley, former three-time World Boxing Organization welterweight champion, can beat pound-for-pound king Manny Pacquiao when they meet at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Saturday, May 8, (Sunday, Manila time) a sports analyst told Radyo Inquirer Friday.

“There is no way he can lose, he will have a hard time countering Pacquiao.” said Ronnie Nathanielsz.

There is no way Shane Mosley, former three-time World Boxing Organization welterweight champion, can beat pound-for-pound king Manny Pacquiao when they meet at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Saturday, May 8, (Sunday, Manila time) a sports analyst told Radyo Inquirer Friday.

“Unless Pacquiao breaks a leg, had a heart attack or somebody poisons him,” Nathanielsz said, claiming he was “100 percent sure that Pacquiao will win.”

Nathanielsz said Mosley could only throw one or two punches unlike Pacquiao who could throw punches from different angles. He also said that Mosley would be good only for the first four to five rounds.

He added that even foreign analysts bet on Pacquiao because they have seen both train.

He said that Mosley’s only advantage were experience and a strong right hand. “Mosley might get lucky with a right hand.”
