PSL: Petron blasts Cignal

Petron scored its third straight win by demolishing Cignal, 25-18, 25-20, 25-17, in the Philippine Superliga Grand Prix at FilOil Flying V Arena.

Cignal import Lynda Morales sat out due to an injured middle bone on her left foot and is likely to miss out the rest of the conference.

The win assured the Tri Activ Spikers’ outright semifinals berth and gave them a league-leading 8-1 record.

The HD Spikers slumped to 1-6 but they and the Life Savers can still book semis in the playoffs.
