Tenorio on bad shooting: ‘I was out of focus’
LA Tenorio had a night to forget offensively in Barangay Ginebra San Miguel’s win over Rain or Shine, 81-74, Sunday at Mall of Asia Arena in the 2017 PBA Philippine Cup.
Tenorio missed all his field goal attempts but still finished with four points, five rebounds, and six assists.

“I was out of focus during the game.”
Tenorio also missed crucial free throws down the stretch for Ginebra when he blanked his chances at the 46.5-second mark of the fourth and the Gin Kings up 78-74.

Tenorio, though, would take a bad shooting game in a win than having a high-scoring affair in a loss.
“I’d rather take this game than the last game, scoring a lot of points but we didn’t win,” said Tenorio, who had 27 points in their loss to TNT. “So I’d rather take this kind of win and grinding out wins, even if it’s not pretty, as long as we did our best especially on the defensive end.”
Ginebra limited Rain or Shine to 26 percent shooting (26-of-100) from the field while converting a respectable 46 percent of its shots (32-of-70).
