Barreto, Daos eye KL berths
Swimmers Rafael Barreto and Kirsten Chloe Daos are prepping up for a possible stint in the Southeast Asian Games in Kuala Lumpur next year.
And they could earn the spot with another remarkable outing in the coming Southeast Asian Age Group Swimming Championships on Dec. 9 to 12 in Bangkok, Thailand.
Barreto broke a gold-medal drought for the country in the boys’ 14-15 years’ 50-meter butterfly during the 39th edition of the meet held in Danang, Vietnam, last year while Daos topped the girls’ 16-18 200m fly.
