Jeric Teng signs with Mahindra
Mahindra continues to be the land of opportunity.
Jeric Teng gets a new lease on life in his professional career, joining the Floodbuster in a one-season deal.
Rain or Shine left the former Santo Tomas star unsigned in the offseason after the wave of changes following the departure of coach Yeng Guiao.
Though seldomly used last season, Teng averaged 3.6 points and 1.4 rebounds in 9.1 minutes on the floor for the Elasto Painters.
He reported to the team’s practice Wednesday morning.
The 25-year-old guard has yet to make a splash in the PBA since being drafted 12th overall in the 2013 Draft.
Mahindra continued to scour the free agent pool and retool its roster following the team’s 0-3 start this 2017 PBA Philippine Cup.
The Floodbuster signed Gary David and Rey Guevarra in separate one-season deals last week.
