Mark John Galedo dominated the 2016 Tour of Guam, crossing the finish line nearly five minutes ahead of his closest pursuant last Sunday.
Galedo, skipper of 7-Eleven Sava Road Bike Philippines, completed the 105-kilometer long course in two hours and 54 minutes.
Jamie Sternadel, also a first time competitor in Guam, came in second with a time of two hours, 58 minutes and 52 seconds while hometown bet Patrick Camacho wound up third at three hours, one minute and 19 seconds.
Jazy Garcia, son of Filipino cycling champion Jesus Garcia Jr., ruled the inaugural year of the race, which draw 158 cyclists this year.
Last December 3, Galedo placed third in the Hell of the Marianas 100-km bike race in Saipan with compatriot Jan Paul Morales taking home the gold medal.
