The resounding win came a week after it pulled the rug from under defending champion St. Benilde, 25-22, 24-26, 25-18, 20-25, 15-10.

The Lady Cardinals and Lady Knights fell to their sixth straight defeat and out of the Final Four.
In men’s action, Mapua turned back Lyceum, 25-18, 25-20, 22-25, 14-25, 15-13, to improve to 3-3 and keep its Final Four bid alive.
The Pirates slid to 2-3.
