Lyceum repulses Mapua
Lyceum is taking a long holiday break on a winning note.
The hot-streaking team yesterday drubbed Mapua, 25-16, 25-21, 25-12, to chalk its fourth win in five games in the 92nd NCAA women’s volleyball at FilOil Flying V Center.
Fresh from its conquest of defending champion St. Benilde, Lyceum was on fire all match long and left no doubt of its intention to impose its presence this early in the league.

“I’m still not satisfied because I know we can still improve our level of game,” said Lontoc in Filipino. “I was telling my team we can beat every team for as long as we reach our potential and peak at the right time.”
Lyceum team captain Cherilyn Sindayen top-scored with 18 points, 14 on kills, while Czarina Orros had eight points. Cherry Genova and Christine Miralles combined for 14 points.
