Former champion Pido Jarencio posted another cryptic tweet Thursday morning hinting at his desire to return to his old post at University of Santo Tomas.

“I’m only one call away. I’ll be there to save your day. #PusoPridePalaban,” Jarencio posted on @pidojarencio1.

Lifting words from Charlie Puth’s hit single “One Call Away,” it was the second time Jarencio alluded to a possible return to the Tigers’ lair.

Earlier this month, he also sent out a tweet which read: “Lets bring back the glory! #pusopridepalaban #GoUSTe #USTGrowlingTigers,” paired with a photo of the team celebrating the 2006 championship.

Jarencio was earlier quoted in a report on The Varsitarian expressing his intention to return if the job is vacant.

“Yes, I want to return if the position is vacant,” he said in the report.

Jarencio steered the Growling Tigers to a championship and three Finals appearances from 2006 to 2013.

He has since moved on to GlobalPort in the PBA, where he acted as the head coach and currently, head of basketball operations.
