Two major athletics events set in 2017

The Philippine Athletics Track and Field Association (Patafa) will hold two major events in Ilagan, Isabela, this year.

Some 300 athletes (17 years and below) from 11 countries will see action in the inaugural Southeast Asian Youth Athletics Championships in March.

It will be followed by the Philippine National Open on March 30 to April 2, the main tryout for the Kuala Lumpur Southeast Asian Games in August. —Marc Anthony Reyes
