National sports associations will get their chance to justify the inclusion of their athletes in the Kuala Lumpur Southeast Asian Games delegation when they sit down with the joint task force of the Philippine Sports Commission and the Philippine Olympic Committee starting tomorrow.
“We want to be clear with the NSAs that only medal contenders will be allowed to go,” said PSC Chair Butch Ramirez, who will head the three-day summit in Tagaytay City.
“We might sound arrogant, but we will only fund athletes who are capable of winning because we mean business here.”
