JAKARTA, Indonesia – President Benigno Aquino III is solidly behind Saranggani Representative Manny Pacquiao as he climbs the ring anew on Saturday night in Las Vegas to defend his world welterweight title against American Shane Mosley.
“Our prayers go to Manny Pacquiao as he embarks on another history-making fight. The President and the people are 1,000 percent behind him,” Presidential Communications Development and Strategic Planning Secretary Ricky Carandang said.
Carandang is part of President Aquino’s official delegation to the 18th Association of Southeast Asian Nations Summit.
