NEW YORK, United States — New York Knicks reserve Kyle O’Quinn and Justin Anderson of the Dallas Mavericks were each fined $25,000 by the NBA on Wednesday after flagrant fouls committed Monday.

O’Quinn was ejected from the Knicks’ loss to New Orleans after his push of airborne Anthony Davis sent the Pelicans star crashing into courtside seats.

Davis had 40 points and 18 rebounds in 29 minutes on Monday before departing the game with a hip injury, and the Pelicans said he’s uncertain for their game at the Brooklyn Nets on Thursday.

Anderson, 23, was fined for his foul on Kris Dunn in the Mavericks’ game against Minnesota on Monday.

Rising to block Dunn’s bid for a breakaway layup, Anderson hit Dunn across the head, knocking him to the court.

He was assessed a flagrant 1 foul by game officials, but upon review league officials ruled it a more serious flagrant 2, defined as involving “unnecessary and excessive” contact. CBB
