Pauline leads Filipino charge
Pauline del Rosario plays her final event as an amateur and will try to lead Team Philippines to victory over its Southeast Asian counterparts in the first Pradera Ladies Challenge, a Ryder Cup-style event that tees off Sunday at Pradera Verde in Lubao, Pampanga.
Del Rosario turns pro after this three-day event and would want to go out in style as she sees action in foursome play in the morning and then best ball in the afternoon.
Other members of the rock-solid The Country Club crew, counting Sofia Chabon, Mikhaela Fortuna and Abby Arevalo are also in Team PH, which will be skippered by Chona dela Paz.
Attaya Thitikul, who finished second to Bianca Pagdanganan in the Philippine Ladies on Friday at Wack Wack West, leads Team SEA.
