Alab Pilipinas continued its winning roll after beating the Wesports Malaysia Dragons, 65-54, in the Asean Basketball League Sunday at House of Champions in Cyberjaya, Malaysia.

The Philippines extended its streak to three games as it improved to 5-2.
JR Cawaling led Alab with 11 points on top of four rebounds while Bobby Ray Parks Jr. just missed a double-double with nine points and 10 rebounds.
The Filipinos showed no signs of slowing down despite playing their second game in three days.
Cawaling, the former Far Eastern University star, came up big as he delivered timely shots down the stretch including a game-sealing triple for a 63-51 with under two minutes remaining.
After an unsteady first four games, Alab has been on a roll in its last three games–beating Kaohsiung, 86-77, on Jan. 8 before nipping Singapore, 74-72, on Friday in Biñan, Laguna.
Dragons import Marcus Melvin led all scorers with 15 points.
