Baby Tams crush Junior Warriors
Far Eastern University jumped to an early double-digit lead and showed no letup in a 94-51 bludgeoning of University of the East Tuesday in the UAAP Season 79 juniors basketball tournament at Filoil Flying V Centre in San Juan.
On a high after their 75-73 win over erstwhile unbeaten Adamson on Saturday, the Baby Tamaraws opened the game on a 12-2 blitz, a lead that ballooned to 47 in the second half.
FEU, which had no player seeing action for more than 17 minutes, drew quality minutes from its starters and reserves with Karl Baclay showing the way with 15 points on 7-of-7 shooting from the field just less than 14 minutes off the bench.

Spacing the floor, Thomas made four triples while Gonzales went 3-of-3.
The Baby Tamaraws shot 54% from the field including 8-of-16 from the three-point area while the Junior Warriors made just 30% of their field goal attempts.
