College of St. Benilde claimed the third spot in the NCAA Season 92 women’s volleyball tournament after taking down San Beda, 25-19, 25-23, 17-25, 25-18, Friday at San Juan Arena.
The game was only to determine who will have a higher seeding in the Final Four and the Lady Blazers and the Lady Red Spikers will duke it out again for the right to face second seed Arellano in the step ladder.
San Sebastian swept the eliminations with a 9-0 record and is now waiting for its Finals opponent.
Jeanette Panaga led the Lady Blazers with 17 points while Ranya Musa added 12.
CSB scored more points on spikes, 44, than San Beda, 38, despite having fewer attempts with the Lady Red Spikers having a 158-141 advantage in that department.
Francesca Raqraquin and Nieza Viray led San Beda with 12 points apiece.
