Alyssa Valdez’s Thailand League career has officially began when she received her transfer papers hours before her first match with 3BB Nakornnont.
According to a report on Fox Sports Philippines, Valdez was in her team locker room preparing for a match against King-Bangkok VC when her International Transfer Certificate arrived.
Valdez has had a storied career in the Philippines winning two UAAP titles with Ateneo and three MVP plums.
She’s also won several individual and team awards in the Shakey’s V-League and represented the Philippines in the AVC Asian Under-23 championship.
