Fallorina rules Nat’l Drag Race’s M&H class
Veteran Ricardo Fallorina flaunted vintage form in ruling the premiere M&H Pro class in the National Drag Racing Northern Series held recently at Clark International Speedway.
The 55-year-old Fallorina, being supported by Mighty Sports, efficiently used the 500hp Wankel Rotary turbo engine and a Puerto Rican-style rear wheel set up for his Toyota car
“He will not be called Mr. Close gear for nothing,” said car owner Patrick Lee Tan. “For me, he’s the best drag racer today.”
The win was Mighty Sports’ first in drag racing having carved a niche in basketball, football and volleyball. The series resumes on March 4. —Steve Silva
