There’s no easy route to winning a championship, let alone a second straight title.

Kim Dy and the rest of the De La Salle Lady Spikers experienced it after winning it all last year and they won’t stop until they get another in UAAP Season 79.

“I can never say but we’ll always give our best,” said Dy, who was the Finals MVP last season. “We can but it will be difficult.”

Last season, the Lady Spikers were the best team in the league in blocks, service, sets and reception.

And in the two categories that they weren’t the number one in spiking and digging, the Lady Spikers were the second-best.

“We’re working on it, that swag is a really big thing to shoulder and the guys who were left don’t talk a lot, I don’t talk a lot,” said Dy. “But if swag is really needed, we’ll do our best to express it.”
