Lady Chiefs eye Game 2 victory
Momentum and morale are on Arellano’s side when it tangles with San Sebastian Friday in Game 2 of the NCAA women’s volleyball finals series at Filoil Flying V Centre.
The Lady Chiefs pierced the Lady Stags’ thrice-to-beat armor and, having reduced the championship to a best-of-three encounter, can move a win closer to the title.

“Our strength is on rock-solid defense at the net as well as court coverage,” said Javier, whose charges are now on a 10-game winning streak this season.
Arellano pounced on San Sebastian’s over reliance on Grethcel Soltones to prevail last Tuesday, 25-18, 25-20, 25-16.
