Lucena to host PBA Finals anew
The PBA Finals is headed to Lucena anew.
One of the games in the 2017 PBA Philippine Cup Finals will be played inside Quezon Convention Center in Lucena as the league goes out-of-town on February 26.
Either Game 2 or Game 3 of the best-of-7 championship duel will be contested in front of basketball fans in Lucena, Quezon less than two weeks from now.
Article continues after this advertisementThe semifinals series between rivals San Miguel-TNT and Star-Ginebra are currently tied at two games apiece, with all four teams having a legitimate case to see action in that out-of-town tussle.
This won’t be the first time Lucena will host a Finals match in its homecourt.
Last year, Alaska beat San Miguel, 82-75, in the same venue to take a 3-0 lead in their Finals series, before the Beermen pulled off the miraculous run to the championship.
