Tenorio on Game 6 outing: ‘It’s about the team’
After exploding for a series-best 19 points on Sunday, LA Tenorio couldn’t care any less of his scoring as long as Ginebra gets the win.
“It’s just a bonus for me. What’s important is I involve my teammates on our offense,” he said.

Backs against the wall, the Gin Kings drew a big game from Tenorio to force a Game 7 set on Tuesday after a 91-67 rout of Star.
Tenorio deflected the credit to his teammates.

Tenorio is hopeful that experience will come into play anew.
“We have played in a lot of do-or-die games. Hopefully, we can bring the experience and the composure. The crowd is there to help us,” he said. “You just have to prepare and think about the game. It’s not enough for us to beat Hotshots today. I’m sure they will come out stronger, so we have to be ready for that and we have to match or surpass their energy.”
Tenorio also expects nothing less from his fellow Gin Kings.
“Every game for us is a do-or-die game. It started in today’s game and we survived the first do-or-die, so I hope on Tuesday, hopefully we survive that again,” he said. “We were able to do that against Alaska, so hopefully, we do it again versus Star.”
