Less than two months after her failed octagon return, former UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey is returning to the limelight.

But instead of the bright lights of the UFC, “Rowdy” will be making her way back to acting, as she lands a guest role in NBC’s critically acclaimed crime-drama series “Blindspot.”

The 30-year-old MMA superstar, as per The Washington Post, will once again set her fighting career aside as she works alongside Hollywood actors Sullivan Stapleton and Jamie Alexander.

“Rousey will be playing Devon Penberthy: a female prison inmate who grew up in a working-class family from the White Mountains of New Hampshire and is serving time for transporting weapons across state lines,” the TV network confirmed in a statement. “She is a tough, athletic woman who knows how to fight and handle a weapon.”

The role of Penberthy seems to be the perfect fit for Rousey, whose tough image and hard-knock attitude have endeared her to both hardcore and casual MMA fans.

The former Olympia judoka, however, has hit a rough patch as of late, getting knocked out in two consecutive bouts against Holly Holm and Amanda Nunes.

Following her second disappointing loss in a row, Rousey simply said she needed to “take some time to reflect and think about the future.”

UFC President Dana White has voiced his belief that she was “probably done” with fighting following her second career loss.

Prior to her guest starring role, Rousey lent her talents to successful movie franchises including “The Expendables 3” and “Furious 7.” She also played as herself in the movie adaptation of ‘Entourage’ in 2015.

Rousey is confirmed to headline a remake of the 1989 action film “Roadhouse” along with another project entitled “Mile 22.” Her “Blindspot” episode is expected to air sometime in May.  Khristian Ibarrola /ra
