BORACAY ISLAND—Centennial III caught the biggest prize of Philippine sailing for the third straight year.

But unlike their two previous title victories, skipper Judes Echauz and his all-Filipino crew have the luxury of gaining headway this time when Centennial III ruled the 320-kilometer Subic to Boracay race.

Karakoa, captained by businessman Rey Ordovez, finished second.
